The main idea of the Animal Rights and Vegetarianism Website is to tell people, that eating meat is bad, while being a vegetarian is the right idea to do. The view of The Animal Rights and Vegetarianism is that not eating meat will not only save the lives of millions of animals, but can also be very healthy diet. The strong emotion and word choice really helped me get a viewpoint on the message the author is trying to tell us. For example, "Modern high-pressure agriculture commonly keeps cows, calves, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and other animals in overcrowded stalls, cages, crates, or sheds where they are often unable to turn around or take even a single step for their entire lives", showing that not only are these animals being killed, but abused along the way. This would be important to look at, when you look down at your plate or what you are eating.
The happy cow website has a strong passion against slaughtering animals and what is really on your plate, but also states that being a vegetarian, is better for your body and does not put down anything about being Vegetation. For example, a plant-based vegetarian diet is healthier and can prevent diseases. According to the American Dietetic Association, vegetarians have a reduced risk of heart diseases, obesity, colon cancer, adult-onset diabetes, osteoporosis, gout, gallstones, kidney stones, lung cancer, and breast cancer."
The Animal Rights and Vegetarianism says all of their positive comments, only to support their side. They don't give any feedback about what they think is good about those who eat meat. This may change the opinion of other readers on eating meat because of the strong facts and word choice.
The links connected to this website show PETA (People of the Ethical Treatment of Animals) which is a strong animal loving website also showing other reasons why being a vegetarian is better. Another ad that I noticed was one that showed the amount of animals that were slaughtered as you entered this website, full of many different land animals. That could make a person realize how many animals are possibly being slaughtered in the few seconds since they opened this window, again, showing that being a Vegetarian is better then killing animals for food.
